But, I feel lik this blog will be fun to write, just because I'm excited about everything thats going on. I guess the first thing is my internship, I love the team, and i love what im doing down here. However, i would say that New Orleans is one dirty city! I guess you can blame alot of it on Katrina, but the city eventually needs to stop using Katrina as a crutch for everything. I was also surprised to see how incorrect it is to call NO the "Big Easy"...people are D-bags here! They can also talk to a brick wall for 2 hours if they wanted to. I love talking to them, but the majority of the time thier negative about everything. It almost makes me question my own hope in what I'm doing down here.
Anyways, on to the fun stuff, after i leave here I get to start on so many different adventures. I get to visit, no live, in thestate that I've always wanted to go to...Texas! Im pumped to explore a new part of the country, like Lewis and Clark. Im gonna find something new and name it Awesome Dunbar, cause I feel like i could relate. Then after I come back from Houston, I get to move into my new house in BG! I couldnt be more excited, Living with 4 other guys that are just as laid back as me. I'm really excited for the basement, its gonna be the spot to be. If you want to buy me a gift to celebrate the occasion (a house warming gift) you can go to wal-mart and buy a 100 pack of play pit ball. Its like 10 bucks, the more balls for the Ball Pit, the higher we can jump into them. Then outside the house, I get to start (possibly, about 85% sure) my job with the school baseball team. I'll be working on the field mainly, and have small other jobs. What they dont know is I plan on working my way to starting Right Fielder, I was a beast there in middle school. UH, what else...there was something else. OH, the freakin Voodoo Festival in New Orleans on Halloween weekend! I was really bummed out that i was gonna miss a music festival this summer, and I was hoping Voodoo would be somewhat good, but I was surprised by thier lineup- its amazing! So me and D-man are gonna go, guarnteed to be a blast!!
Thats about it, Im excited, for all this stuff. I dont want to say im ready for my internship to be over, but everything that follows the summer, is what im most looking forward to right now!
I'll leave you with a little something something. Out of the many artist Im looking forward to seeing at Voodoo, this guy is one that probably none of you would expect, but best believe i'll be drinking a beer and dipping while i listen to him. (this guy has a sweet mustache and stupid music videos)

LOL

I use "LOL" like its going out of style. It usually goes like this, you send me a text, if i think its funny, i reply "haha". But if i think its hilarious, like so hilarious i can imagine a comedian say it then i'll reply with "lol". But if it's even more funnier then you get a "LOL". Thats my code, now you can use that against m in some way, im sure, i'll expect it. With that being said...i never actually laugh out loud (thats what "lol" means, i think). I chuckle.
For the first time, mark it, May 31st probably around 9:40 central time, i LOL'ed for the first time. It was a genuine lol moment, i wont go into detail because i never know who it may offend. But i will say that lol'ing was very sweet, if i had to compare it with anything i can imagine making love for the first time would be close to it! Or maybe waiting all year for Thanksgiving just to eat your favorite dish, mine being sweet potatoes, or my aunts chocolate pie that she just buys from Market Day!
It was a special moment. Laughing at my little one inch phone screen.

(I'll probably write another one of these real soon-dont get spoiled, i just have crap to say)

Twit

I have to take a second to apologize to my reader, I just saw his recent demands to write more and I thought it would be rude to keep him waiting any-longer . So this one is for you.
A week ago I completely sold my mind to the internet. I haven't felt the same since.

I spend my time trying to think of ways to which I can let you know what I'm doing, Facebook was a perfect fit. With Facebook I could tell hundreds of friends (most of which I wouldn't actually consider friends at all) a sarcastic one-liner that relates to what I'm doing AND showoff my newest picture that some photojournalism student took AND share my favorite movies AND wish a happy birthday to that kid I always laughed at in elementary school. It was everything that I've always wanted to do, but to cool to do in person. Call it love at first sight. But things grew stale and Facebook decided to change. I'm still staying with Facebook, for the kids, it's not a complete divorce, and I still plan on wasting around 3 hours a day with it.

Anyways, last week I signed up for Twitter. I don't know how I feel about it! It's odd that people have convinced themselves that others actually want to know what you doing so often. But i did it, just to see how it is and what the fuss is about. I updated it once in a week, then out of the blue I decided to do a "Live" tweet. I felt like my followers (2) were dying to know how my last Hebrew class went, so I let them in on some Hebrew love. Anyways, I feel like I just added another responsibility to my long list by signing up for Twitter. Sorry if I let you down on my Tweet-er-ness updates...

Spring Break 09!

I remember in high school, and middle school watching MTV while college spring breakers show off skills thats better off not being shown to hormone-driven, disobedient rug-rats like myself. I also have good memories of high school youth group summer trips, in which some guy that I don't know would talk about the devil that is in those college students, he scared the piss out of every lusting boy in the auditorium. He would warn of the dangers in temptation and would hope that we wouldn't turn towards the 'dark side' when we go off to college. I'm not disagreeing with the guy, however I'm really upset in the notation that he gave me! Spring Break for me has never been that tempting, or eventful. Sometimes I wish I was given the opportunity to fight off evil girls and beer-bong serpents, it seems like a really fun computer game. It could have levels; the girls would get cuter, and the beer would be more top notch as the levels advance. Anyways...I guess I'm upset at both MTV and preachers. MTV set the bar for childish expectations of spring break, they gave me hopes that spring break would be awesome! The preachers sold me on the fact MTV IS real, and telling the truth (despite todays Reality shows), and that my spring breaks will never consist of me sitting on my couch while Facebooking 8 hours a day. I guess the ability to connect with summer camps and chubby kids is what made me favor the movie.
