Spring Break 09!

I remember in high school, and middle school watching MTV while college spring breakers show off skills thats better off not being shown to hormone-driven, disobedient rug-rats like myself. I also have good memories of high school youth group summer trips, in which some guy that I don't know would talk about the devil that is in those college students, he scared the piss out of every lusting boy in the auditorium. He would warn of the dangers in temptation and would hope that we wouldn't turn towards the 'dark side' when we go off to college. I'm not disagreeing with the guy, however I'm really upset in the notation that he gave me! Spring Break for me has never been that tempting, or eventful. Sometimes I wish I was given the opportunity to fight off evil girls and beer-bong serpents, it seems like a really fun computer game. It could have levels; the girls would get cuter, and the beer would be more top notch as the levels advance. Anyways...I guess I'm upset at both MTV and preachers. MTV set the bar for childish expectations of spring break, they gave me hopes that spring break would be awesome! The preachers sold me on the fact MTV IS real, and telling the truth (despite todays Reality shows), and that my spring breaks will never consist of me sitting on my couch while Facebooking 8 hours a day. They were both wrong as could be.

My world came to a crashing halt today. Up to about 4p.m I would have claimed that Heavyweights is my favorite horrible movie. I guess the ability to connect with summer camps and chubby kids is what made me favor the movie. Heavyweights is nice, but the awkward 80's humor in Meatballs II is to good to pass up. I guess what I'm trying to say is Heavyweights has lost any credibility I once had for it.

Becor

This is my first blog of my second blog. Today was a success for me, I accomplished alot. I'm about 86% sure that I only created this blog in an attempt to feel even more accomplished. This has been my accomplished day:
1.) I Woke Up- it seems easy enough, but it was before noon.
2.) I Ate Chili- Me and my roommate (not my Mom) went to Skyline chili, I feel accomplished from this because I used ALOT of hot sauce, and only 1 cup of water...
3.) I Lost 2 Games in MLB2K9- How do I feel accomplished in this? The average margin of defeat was only 2.5. (This was a whole lot better compared to a 15 run defeat the day before.)
4.) I Read- I received my "Information Packet" from Crossroads Missions, for my internship. I read all of it. Never-mind the fact that most of it was medical/tax forms.
5.) I e-mailed My Aunt- She didn't think I would ever e-mail her...Surprise, I did it!
6.) I Watched Women's Basketball- I'm not a fan of women's basketball. No upsets. No excitement. However, their jumpshots are actually starting to look like jumpshots. Bottom-line, I watched something I didn't like, which makes me cultured...
7.) I Did This.
